What got you started?
I was having insomnia due to stress from university. I started out practicing alongside Yoga videos on YouTube at midnight as a way to achieve better sleep. One day, I received a voucher for a Yoga studio and have never looked back since.
What do you do besides Yoga?
I do a mixture of circuit training with HIIT!
What do you love most about spreading the practice of Yoga?
The best thing about spreading the practice is the pleasure of seeing joy on a student’s face whether it’s finally understanding what goes into a pose, or experiencing air time in a pose for the first time!
If you were a fictional character, who would you be?
Wonder Woman! She’s powerful, pure and filled with love.
What’s your secret talent?
If I told you… it wouldn’t be a secret anymore.
Favorite Disney movie?
I want to say Hercules but I really can’t pick one because I love them all!
How has Yoga complemented your life?
It serves as a constant reminder that there is Yin and Yang when it comes to everything in life. One cannot exist without the other, and everything is done with moderation. This is something I try to apply to my everyday.
